The New Balance Allerdale Walking Shoe Cooks Up “Roasted Cashew”

There’s been much ado about cuts like the New Balance 204L and 2000, but the Allerdale has quietly been one of the Boston brand’s most compelling new models of 2025 so far. While we can’t ignore the fact that a $250 walking shoe might not be for everybody, the Made In UK silo epitomizes what New Balance does best; ultra quality and ultra comfort. After checking off its first collab thanks to Drake’s London, the Allerdale is continuing its run with a “Roasted Cashew” leather style for Fall/Winter 2025.

The Allerdale has been likened to a “grandpa shoe” thus far, and these speak to that identity to a tee. Tumbled “Roasted Cashew” leather engrosses the entire upper, while a light gum FuelCell cupsole lands underfoot. To the uninitiated; the Allerdale features a name and design inspired by the historical region that houses New Balance’s Flimby factory. Much like the model’s inaugural “Tortoise Shell” release, this latest colorway stays focused on the British tradition of refined leisure.

The New Balance Allerdale “Roasted Cashew” has already surfaced abroad and is expected to hit newbalance.com during the Fall/Winter 2025 shopping window. See official retailer images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming NBs.
