Either due to some strange confluence of events or simply because of the sheer number of players in the industry, it feels like everyone in sneakers is celebrating an anniversary this year. At least from our perspective, END Clothing has handled their masterfully, teeing off their “END 20” celebration in April with a full list of the partners they’d bring into the festivities. Having worked through link-ups with Lacoste, adidas, Crocs, and their most recent, ASICS, the UK retailer isn’t wasting any time taking another name off the board in Salomon.
Though their relationship has largely been forged on the XT-6, Salomon and END. instead the partners here choose to celebrate newness. It’s the XT-Whisper Void in focus, making its second collaborative appearance after pairing up with London singer Ama. An offshoot of the parent model, itself only introduced in 2024, the layered composition of the XT-Whisper shifts into thinner, graphic components on the “Void.” The UK retailer utilizes that hardware for a chameleonic exterior that pairs well with the paler mesh foundation underneath.
A hearty pink collar adds some standout contrast to close, diverging a bit from the “Avocado” theme at play but nonetheless serving as a necessary part of this design.Narratively, the lush tones of greengrocers inspire this shoe, furthered with in-store campaign shots and graphic insoles depicting the fruit itself.
