Travis Scott’s “Velvet Brown” Jordan 1 Low Comes To Mind On This Nike SB Blazer Mid

Travis Scott doesn’t outright own the color brown, but we’d be remiss to ignore the extent to which La Flame’s sneaker portfolio has influenced non-collaborative releases. As demonstrated most notably 2020’s Jordan 1 High “Dark Mocha,” the Houston artist’s popular contemporary palette has resulted in a whole “Travis Scott shoes at home” variety of GRs some that some (particularly collab L-takers) might consider consolidation prizes. That’s exactly the case with this brown and black Nike SB Blazer Mid earmarked for Holiday 2025.

There’s nothing particularly special about the design at play; brown suede makes up the upper, complemented by black hits on the Swoosh, backtab, laces, tongue, and midsole. Throw on some pink laces and you’ve got a aesthetic comparable to any number of Travis Scott shoes, particularly his “Velvet Brown” Jordan 1 Low from late last year. We should note that Scott’s most well-known Nike/Jordan collaboration, his “Mocha” AJ1s from 2019, not so subtly pull from the Nike SB Dunk Low “Trail End Brown” from 2007.
