The Jordan Luka .77 “NY vs. NY” Takes Inspiration From Bomb Pops

Luka Dončić shoes have played a role in every major streetball tournament sponsored by Jordan/Nike in 2025, including Dongdan, Quai 54, and now NY vs NY. As the Big Apple’s premier amateur competition prepares to pass through Dyckman Park in just a few days, the Jordan Luka .77 has surfaced in a new “NY vs NY” style reminiscent of a staple summertime treat.

We’re reminded, of course, of “Bomb Pop” popsicles (or “Rocket Pops/Firecrackers” depending on where you grew up). That cherry, lime, and blue raspberry combo hits different when you’ve been out and about enjoying summer, and it plays on this Luka .77 all the same. Split color blocking is the obvious design choice here, with the lateral side appearing in blue and medial side appearing in bright red. Save for an all-blue tongue, the playful clashing of colors is seen throughout the entire shoe, including the outsole and patent leather on toe box/heel. A white tag featuring graffiti-inspired “NY vs NY” text juts out around the lateral quarter, complemented by custom tournament graphics on the insoles. The Luka .77 is designed for outdoor surfaces, which makes its inclusion in Jordan/Nike’s “NY vs NY” lineup more than natural.
