This is a public warning to everyone: stop using ITAOBUY.
Over the past weeks, a large number of buyers have reported the same serious issue: ITAOBUY is not purchasing items using the links provided by buyers, which leads to people receiving products that do not match what they actually ordered. We investigated this with multiple sellers, and what we found is honestly insane.
Here’s what ITAOBUY is doing: when you give them a Weidian link, they add the item to the seller’s cart, but they do NOT actually pay for it. They then take that unpaid cart record and input it into their own system as if a real purchase was made. This creates a fake purchase order number, making you think they bought your exact item, when in reality no payment ever happened. Meanwhile, your item is being secretly swapped.
Real example: a buyer wants an LJR batch AJ1 from the official LJR seller. ITAOBUY adds the LJR AJ1 to the cart on LJR’s Weidian store but doesn’t pay. They then use that unpaid cart to generate a “purchase” on their website so the buyer thinks everything is fine. In reality, ITAOBUY goes somewhere else and buys a much cheaper AJ1 from a different batch, then ships that garbage-tier batch to the buyer instead.
How do they profit? Easy. You pay LJR batch price. They buy a 100–200 RMB trash batch. They pocket the price difference. Then they still charge you service fees and international shipping fees on top. So they make money on the product swap and on logistics. It’s literally a double-dip scam.
This isn’t a one-off mistake. According to repeated buyer feedback, this has been happening a lot recently. Multiple people only realized after QC pics or after receiving their haul that they got completely wrong batches.
So yeah — wake up. Stop using ITAOBUY. Don’t let yourself keep getting played like this.
Use literally any other agent: KAKOBUY, ACBUY, LOONGBUY, whatever. Just do not use ITAOBUY.
