Official Retailer Images Of The Air Jordan 10 “Steel”

The Air Jordan 10 is easily the most mysterious of Air Jordans of the Tinker Hatfield-era. It’s never quite cracked that upper class of Jordans that have come to be loved by fans worldwide, largely because it released during Jordan’s retirement years, and the design was somewhat bland compared to its successor, the Air Jordan 11.

While the Air Jordan 10 has every reason to hide in obscurity, core Jordan fanatics hold it in high esteem. 2025 marks the return of several original colorways such as the Jordan 10 “Shadow” (expected to drop in November) and the Air Jordan 10 “Steel”, a simple white/grey/black colorway that will come attached with an IYKYK quirk.

The Air Jordan 10 was originally intended to include a toe-cap, but was removed per Jordan’s request. MJ loved the clean toe look, and that was the right call as it injected a level of elegance to Air Jordan footwear from that point on. However, some pairs with the scrapped toe-cap made it out to the public, becoming one of the more sought-after collectors items for sneakerheads.

For 2025, Jordan Brand is indeed calling back to this bit of history by releasing this OG colorway with that discarded feature. We’ve uncovered a first look of the shoes on official studio photography of Nike product, captured on-foot on a model wewaring Jordan biking/moto-cross lifestyle apparel. A closer, zoomed-in look reveals the toe-cap in full.
