Nike Ushers The KD 18 Into Their Team Bank Resevoir

“Team Bank” colorways serve as one of the most tried-and-true traditions in basketball shoes, trotting core silhouettes out in simplistic palettes intended to align with uniforms at all levels. For their part, Nike has its own long history of decking out their signature models in said fashion, gracing Sabrina Ionescu, Ja Morant, and Kevin Durant’s models in 2024

With the announcement of redux issues for the Ja 2 as well as introductory editions for the A’OneKobe 9, and GT Cut 3, the 2025 counterpart is officially underway. It’s no shock, then, that Kevin Durant shoes, themselves veterans of the project, enter the mix anew. What does come as a slight surprise is the manner in which the KD 18 embraces team-centric style, reversing the usual white-on-tone aesthetics for snowy primary shades across all of its colorways. As of yet, three pairs have come to the fore, pinning red, white, and black across the Terra Humara-inspired quarter cage through to the midsole and sock-liner.
